On the way they came across with a donkey abandoned for his old age. The donkey had been dodging a wolf. The cat and the cock were scared and climbed up the donkey. When the donkey asked what they were doing there they answered  that they were seeking a place to spend the night. The three animals continued walking and found some saddlebags in which there was a wolf's head. They put it up the donkey to eat it when they were hungry.
