Peter married Lisbeth, the most beautiful girl from the surroundings, not because he loved her, but to show off with her beauty. Lisbeth was a good woman and was used to give to the poor. Peter caught her in such a moment and beat her with spades.
The Little Man turned up and saved her giving to Peter seven days to repent for his deeds. Peter understood his mistakes which he had done and wanted help from the Little Glass Man to get his heart back from Michael the Giant. Peter pretended he didnt believe Michael so good a wizard to replace his heart. Michael fell into the trap and repeated the spell putting the real heart in his chest. When Michael understood he had been tricked, he tried to revenge, but Peter proved to be brave and didnt give in to the giants threats.
With the help of the Little Glass Man, Peter regained his wife and his mother to whom he repented for his deeds and he found a new household continuing to work as coaler. After some time in his family a baby was born, and the Little Glass Man gave it some gold as godfather. Peter understood that his real wealth was his heart which was beating in his chest and the familys love because these made him really happy and not money.
