Many daredevils tried to kill the dragon, but unfortunately nobody did. A shoemaker observed the struggle carefully and, after a few days, he had a great idea! He bought a sheep ... took out all his intestines, and filled up its skin with plenty of sulphur and tar. He tossed the prepared animal against the dragon cave. The monster was lured  by the smell of lamb, so  he quickly swallowed the tasty treat. He felt a terrible pain - the fire began to burn his stomach! The giant came to the river and began to drink water. His belly second by second grew larger and larger until it blew up!
     The city filled up with great joy and the hero was duly rewarded.
